Andreas Asimakopoulos is a sound designer and musician originally from Soldotna, Alaska, where the surrounding natural environment helped shape his sensitivity to sound. With roots in songwriting, guitar, and vocal performance, Andreas developed a strong musical foundation before discovering his deeper passion for sound design.
After working as an audio engineer in Atlanta, he sought to expand his creative and technical skills by earning an MFA in Sound Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. There, he focused on post-production for film and television, building a versatile practice that includes sound effects, dialogue editing, re-recording mixing, and original composition.
Alongside his work in post, Andreas continues to mix, master, and write music. He is committed to sharpening his craft, telling impactful stories through sound, and contributing to creative teams with thoughtfulness, precision, and imagination.
